This image was taken from the inside of a hot dog shop whilst looking out onto the street, we know this because the window has the reflected writing the wrong way round which implies it was taken from the inside of the window. By doing this he has also captured the outside scenery of London whilst also showing that he was inside a hot dog shop.
This photograph is showing someone walking through the rainy street of London with an umbrella which says ' I Love London' this is a typcial tourist umbrella which can be found being sold all throughout the streets of London. This image captures the way of life in London as it is the capital of England and so it is one of the top tourist hot spots.
In this image Nicholas has taken a landscape shot of London, and edited the sky and waters into a pink and purple hint, he has also editing flying carpets flying through the sky, here he has tried to add a fairytale twist onto the classic urban skyline of London.
This image is showing a dog walking down the street along a wall which has been spray painted, again spray paint is another typical feature of London and other urban areas. I also like how instead of the spray paint being vandalism it is a motivational quote in order to help boost peoples morales.
I feel Nicholas' work has influenced me to try and photograph the more urban areas of London aswell as trying to edit the landscape images in order to create a more creative and experimental approach to landscape photography.
In summary i like Nicolas's style of photography as he captures different sides to London and he edits his photographs in a more creative way in which creates a fun way to show urban photography.
