This photograph is showing a London scene in which the only things in colour are the bus and the underground sign. I like the effect this has as it makes them the most prominent focus of the images, as London is such a busy place constantly and so by putting only two items in the photograph it tones down an image which would be extremely clashing with the other colours in the image.
This is one of my photographs which i took whilst in London. As i took it on the side of a busy road with moving vehicles, the black cab which is prominent in the image, however as it is moving the cab has been blurred. I decided to make the red London bus the only object in colour, This was to make the focus of the image as the London bus is a typical feature of London.
These images are both connected as they are showing similar scenes, as they are both set in London and feature Red London buses. The use of the technique selective colour is also used in both images as it is a vital to toning down the busy scene of the photograph, i also like how they both draw the main focus to the London buses due to their bright redness.
