This photograph was taken in Germany, it captures a small harbour area which is in front of a town. This image is capturing the reflection of both the windmill and some of the houses in the town. However, the reflection is not overly clear and this may be due to poor natural lighting conditions or due to the murky colour of the water. However it is still clear that the town is reflected in the water.
This is one of my photographs from one of my exam shoots, it is of a harbour of river boats and the pub which stands behind it. However as i wanted to focus on the reflection and the colours of the reflection, i used the technique of selective colour in order to make the reflection the only part of the photograph in colour. I feel like it has created a nice style of image as instead of the whole image being in colour, the reflection is the only coloured part and so it brings the main focus of the image to that. This images are both connected as they are showing harbour scenes which are both also showing a reflection within the waters surface. They both capture the areas surrounding the harbour, and inside the harbour. Both of the images are able to show the journey which is made on the water, and the area in which the transport used is stored.
