Bobby Adams is an American photographer, and in his portfolio i feel he has shown the effects of ageing well on people as he takes one of their images from childhood and places it next to another image taken more recently. It shows the direct effects of ageing and thus shows the journey through life that that person has taken. 

This photograph is showing the same person or a father and son who have both had their photographs taken and they have then been ripped up and layered upon one another. There are clear similarities between both of the people in the images which implies that they are the same person or are from the same genetic pool. 

This photograph is again showing the direct comparison between ageing with the same person or of a father and son. Here there is clarity between the differences that have occurred within his facial features. Again this is showing the journey of life as it is showing how people age as their life develops. 

This image is showing the difference in facial features between a young girl as a child and again as an adult, this has shown the differences between the womans face and it shows her face as it matures. I also like how the model is wearing similar clothing to that in the original younger pictures. 

This image is also showing the contrast between a much younger child and quite an older man.This shows the clear effects of aging and the effects are clear from the two images being stuck next to each other. 

His work has influenced me as i feel by the direct contrast of the two images it clearly shows the journey of life as it shows the effects of ageing and life that happens to a person eg a change in facial features/hair. I would like to try and recreate some images that are similar to that of Bobby Adams as i feel like they would work well with my project of the journey. 

In summary, Bobby's photographs show the journey of life in a good way due to the direct comparison from the placing of images next to one another.
