Shoot 4 - London - Work Diary

For this shoot i walked around the Westminster area of London as this is quite a popular area for tourists due to the Big Ben and the London Eye being here. I wanted to try and capture the urban presence which can be shown throughout London.

This is an image of a street performer who is playing an accordion, at the beginning of the bridge which goes over the River Thames. One thing i liked about this street performer was that he had dressed his four legged companion up in a mini dog hat and jumper. I feel street performers are a common occurence in central London and so in order to show London's urban personality through image i thought it would represent this in a good way.

This image is showing some graffiti which was captured on the side of a wooden door under a railway bridge. Due to the bright and vibrant colours of the paints used it was clear that a skilled artist had put this on the door and so it must be a form of advertising in order to attract the younger and more urban audience.

If i was to re-do this shoot i would further explore London by going to other typical tourist areas suc as Trafalgar and Leicester Square as i feel these both also capture London life well. I am happy with the outcome of the images from this shoot as they are showing the final destination of London well by capturing things which are stereotypically expected from London.
