Research Log - Journey

Ken is a commercial lifestyle photographer, who travels the world and takes photographs everywhere he goes. I feel his work shows the theme of travel well as his portfolio shows all the different places he has traveled too and the different objects/scenery in the areas he travels too.

Gavin is a free lance travel photographer, who travels all around the world and photographs all of the different cultures within the countries that he visits.



3. Ansel Adams

Ansel is an American landscape photographer and he mainly photographs in black and white. This helps to bring out the features of all of the landscape scenes. 



4.  John Huba

John is another travel photographer and he travels the world whilst capturing the enchanting and exotic world. His work is featured in several different nature magazines etc. 



5. Jessica Sample

Jessica is an American photographer who has been taking images ever since her childhood, and her passion grew as she travelled around the world and captured some amazing photographs.

Berthold is a German photographer who mainly focuses his work on the landscapes which capture the change of places, landcapes made by humans and the traces that they leave behind.

Colin travels the world and captures the different surroundings and experiences which come along with different cultures. His work has been publicised in several famous magazines worldwide.

Rob thinks of his photographs as stories, as whenever he takes the photographs he gets the people to tell them stories about their lives etc. I like the theme to some of his images as they capture the different places he has travelled too and found different peoples experiences.

Dook is a British photographer who is a free lance photographer, who travels the world in order to capture some of the amazing photographs that the manages to capture.

Michel is a photographer based in Paris, after he developed a passion for photography at the age of 12, he has expanded his porfolio from landscapes to beauty.

Bobby is an American photographer and his work has been published in several different magazines. His work here shows the journey of life as he shows the same person at different life stages by placing to half photographs next to one another.

Anne Geddes is a photographer who specialises in pregnancy and baby photography. I like how she takes a unique spin on baby photography as she has created several different portfolios which are made up of several different themes such as under the sea and in the garden. 



13. Lee Jefferies

Lee Jefferies is a British photographer, who has captured the different experiences of people who are homeless or suffering with drug addiction. He has captured the effects this has on the different peoples faces.

Anna is a New Zealand born photographer, and she focuses her work on the gritty street life of America, as she exposes an insight into other peoples lives and captures their different experiences.

Michael is a photographer who strives to take authentic images which captures the street life of different places as he wishes to capture the story of the models in which he is shooting.

David is a photographer from New Zeland who currently lives in England. He tends to strive for a fine art approach whilst going on several safaries and captures mainly lions and other predators in their natural habitat. It is showing the journey that animals have throughout their daily life.

Royna is a German photographer who has a passion for capturing the urban street life and culture mainly in London. Her images strives to capture a scene which is capable of telling its own story.

Charlie is a British photographer who captures several different landscapes and all of his work has an impressive use of shade and lighting. His work also has good composition and i like the way his images show the destination once a journey has taken place.

Nicholas is a London based urban and street photographer who also takes micro-video images. His work mainly focuses on capturing the urban areas of London, whilst also making cinema-graphs. 


20. Vivian Maier

Vivian is a photographer from the 50's. Her vintage images are showing classic street photography style images shot throughout the streets of America. I like her style of image as it captures the older style of city life which can be contrased to the street photography of America today.
